Tour description

Set off on a one-of-a-kind cycling adventure through Northern Alsace, where every kilometer brings you closer to the region’s celebrated craft beer scene — including a visit to the iconic Villa Meteor, the oldest brewery still operating in France. Alsace is a true brewing heartland, shaped by centuries of tradition and know-how.

Your journey begins in Strasbourg and follows a cross-border route that lets you experience both France and Germany as you ride across the Rhine. The itinerary leads you through endless hop fields — Alsace’s “green gold” — charming half-timbered villages, and the peaceful forests of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park and the Haguenau area. Well-maintained bike paths and quiet backroads make this a relaxed and immersive cycling experience. Let the breweries, landscapes, and local hospitality guide you. Each glass you taste tells a story, and the passionate brewers you meet along the way offer a window into a craft that has shaped the region for generations.
