Tour Ohře/Eger river trail - reverse

My first time riding with Europe Bike Tours! I recently completed a guided 8-day Eger River/Spa Triangle tour, a custom route combining aspects of two other trips. Notably, our entire group (except me) were return customers, all of them having biked previously (and more than once) with the company. Their confidence in and loyalty to Europe Bike Tours is not misplaced.

Guiding a tour group over any distance and length of time is an art, and Lukas and his team have perfected it. They are flexible and accommodating where they can (or need to!) be but are also skilled at keeping things moving on time and in the right direction. They are attentive to riders’ needs, keep their fleet of bikes (an astonishing array of them) in great condition, and have a wealth of knowledge of the local area and its history to share. Importantly, they are open to suggestions and feedback – one senses that they are constantly “tweaking” the recipe to refine the experience, which is exactly what you want to see.

All this aside, the critical foundation for any successful guided tour is the people, and Lukas, Jan, and the gang are just plain fun to spend time with! No surprise, then, that they attract riders and clients who are engaging and interesting.

I had an amazing time, and would not hesitate to travel with Europe Bike Tours again!

Klara and Tony, you both have a gift for making people feel special. Your kindness, patience, and genuine warmth turned this journey into one of the most beautiful memories of our lives. We felt cared for in every detail, and the love you put into everything did not go unnoticed.

We absolutely loved being with you two. The connection, the energy, the way we all clicked as a group made it feel like more than just a trip. It felt like family.

We are already counting down the days and can’t wait for the next year. Same team, new roads, more magical moments to come.

Tour Vienna - Budapest

Great trip! Lukas and company couldn’t have been more supportive or patient. Bikes were terrific, equipped with phone holders for navigation, panniers and handlebar pouch —all greatly appreciated. Not one but three apps provided for navigation, detailed trip notes and recommendations. Hotels that were selected were first rate. Been on many bike trips - self-guided and guided — and European Bike Tours ranks at the top.

I’ve now done 6 tour with Lukas & Vitek and the @europebiketours team, and they continue to impress every single time.

Our curated Eger River tour in the Spa Triangle region was absolutely fantastic.

The cycling was stupendous, the weather was terrific, and the food and dining were amazing throughout.

The hotels and accommodations were perfect, and having some evenings where we could enjoy spa treatments was such a treat after a great day on the bike.

What really keeps me coming back, though, is the people.

Lukas and team deliver an outstanding level of service and make everything feel easy, welcoming, and beautifully organised.

Now 2024: I have returned from my 5th tour w Europe Bike Tours where Lukas, Vitek and team were spectacular as usual. We had crazy weather and a few logistical hiccups and this team worked through them like magic where us clients experienced “smooth cycling”.

If you want to see Central Europe on a bike, do it w Europe Bike Tours & Lukas & Vitek!

Tour Pague-Krakow All way biking

Rode from Prague to Krakow May/June 2026. Excellent bike. Good hotels. Amazingly good information provided: GPX files for the route, descriptions of the route with all the details, potential detours to special sites, and lists of places to visit along the way, the best restaurants at each stop, and even where to get first aid or bike repairs.

Prague to Krakow self-guided cycle tour April 2026. Europe bike tours was fantastic and well-organized. This was our first self- guided tour - loved having luggage transfer and gps route all organized for us. We went early in April knowing it was a bit early in the cycling season and weather could be variable. Layers, long pants and gloves needed, but aside from a few chilly morning starts the weather was great. Lots of trees in blossom and the start of tulips. So many beautiful churches, castles and town squares. Highly recommend doing a city bike tour of Prague with Lukas as well.
