After visiting the beautiful Baroque abbey of Ebersmunster, you cycle through the traditional villages of the Ried. Take advantage of this short stage to explore Colmar further in the morning. Do not miss the Issenheim Altarpiece, a masterpiece of the Rhenish Renaissance preserved in the chapel of the Unterlinden Museum, which houses many other treasures. You then continue toward Westhalten or Guebwiller, a winegrowing village located at the foot of the Grand Ballon.

Today you follow the famed Route des Vins, a legendary itinerary offering exceptional landscapes and vibrant wine towns animated by passionate winemakers. At the foot of the Vosges, you discover the charming villages that contribute to the reputation of Alsace’s great wines: Eguisheim, Turckheim, Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr.
Distance: 35 / 50 km
Continuing along the Wine Route, you pass through Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, and Andlau with its Romanesque abbey before reaching your hotel. Accommodation is one of the most important parts of each trip that strongly influences the final look of it. We make our best to offer you the best possible accommodation in the prefered category. The hotels we offer are either comfortable small hotels or quite guesthouses both in 3* quality, all of it rather small and with personality than big chain. All the tours have accommodation in or near the town/village centres so you can spend the afternoon and evening after biking exploring the town itself or simply enjoy the peace of the place.
