Itinerary
Krakow
Show dayThe first day of the tour is dedicated to the ancient royal capital of Poland - Krakow. As part of the day you will enjoy the first of a number of guided walks through town to learn more. Also, should you like having more nights in Krakow, do ask!
Today is the first day following the mighty Vistula river, our tour guide. Leaving cozy Krakow we first stop in a salt mine Wieliczka. An UNESCO protected place which is much more than a mine. A guided tour in this must is included. Back to the river we first admire the town of Niepolomice. Meandering with the Vistula, we easilly get to Nowe Brezsko, our tonights destination.
Distance: 53 km by bike, by bus about 70 km
Description of the day: Day 2 along the river. We keep meandering and enjoying the peacefull river flow. Closer to the end, we change rivers - swaping Vistula for Dunajec to get to Zalipie. Here the bike journey ends and a short car transfer takes us to our tonights lodgings - the lovely town of Baranow Sandomierski with a lovely castle and peacefull gardens next to it.
Distance: 35 km
Description of the day: Today’s trip is a short one. Cycling along Vistula, we will reach the beautiful Sandomierz, with its picturesque old town on the hill. The atmosphere and architecture may remind you of Kraków, although definitely a less crowded one. Before entering Sandomierz it pays of walking the nearby gorges before diving into a town buzz again! Once in Sandomierz, we again enjoy the town best having a local guide showing us around! (included in price!)
After breakfast, transfer by bus to Józefów nad Wisłą. From there, you cycle to Kazimierz Dolny, formerly an important river port. Many of the historic granaries in the town have been converted into guesthouses and hotels. Along the way, you pass through the Kazimierz Landscape Park, an area known for its preserved natural environment and diverse plant and animal life. After arrival, we recommend a walk through the streets of Kazimierz Dolny.
Distance: 11 km or approx. 40 km
Today you may spend time exploring the narrow streets and loess gorges of Kazimierz Dolny on foot, or choose the suggested cycling route. The bike tour leads across the Vistula River to Janowiec Castle, then continues to the town of Puławy, before returning to Kazimierz Dolny on the cycle path.
Today is the last biking day of this trip! This day cycling takes us to Naleczow. A place know as a healing spa and area thanks to its clear air and natural springs.
After enjoying a walk through the town, we are about to board a direct train to Warsaw, the marvvelous Polish capital. Once there, we will for the last time enjoy the city through a guided tour led by a local guide.

Accommodation is one of the most important parts of each trip that strongly influences the final look of it. We make our best to offer you the best possible accommodation in the prefered category. The hotels we offer are either comfortable small hotels or quite guesthouses both in 3* quality, all of it rather small and with personality than big chain. All the tours have accommodation in or near the town/village centres so you can spend the afternoon and evening after biking exploring the town itself or simply enjoy the peace of the place.
